How Obelisk got here

Obelisk began as a tiny house. A 20 mΒ² modular CLT micro-home with a distinctive tapered silhouette, designed for the European premium tiny-living market. The product was good. The architectural drawings, the structural logic, the material palette β€” all of it remains intact, and the Capsule is still our flagship.

What the research kept telling me, though, was that the product was solving the wrong half of the problem. Every prospective European buyer I researched spent four to twelve months not on choosing a builder, but on trying to determine whether their preferred placement was legal. Builders didn't know. Lawyers were too expensive. Government websites published the regulation but never interpreted it. The buyer was alone in front of the legal text.

So Obelisk pivoted. The Capsule remains our reference design, but the business is now the platform that closes the gap between buyer and pathway. We read the regulation. We translate it into a compliant specification. We route you to a builder who can deliver it. And we keep watching the law in case something changes after you've moved in.
